I remember when Super Smash Bros. first came out! The N64 became a group event, with all of us beating each other up, winning races, collecting more coins, and the like. It was awesome.

Well, the Wii U will have a Super Smash Bros. title releasing, and the name has been leaked: Super Smash Bros. Universe!

The leak supposedly comes from a document that has been found online (to the left) but who knows if this is legitimate or not. Does it even matter?

Why Universe? Probably because Nintendo has found several non-Nintendo franchise characters to join the battle. Imagine if we see Master Chief battling Link: that would be downright legendary.

But even though the game may have a name, the release date is not for a few more years. I mean, the Wii U isn’t even out yet, but we can still be excited for some games (like Zelda!).

Anyways, stay tuned for more news on the Wii U.

    Zelda on Wii U Video

During E3 2011, Nintendo not only announced the Wii U, but revealed the controller and a couple Wii U games that are sure to make us happy. For starters, there’s Zelda. This was probably the game that blew our minds the most, because not only is Zelda awesome in HD, but the gaming has a new dimension with the Wii U controller.

The inventory can be seen on the tablet-controller, rather than hitting pause and searching through that screen. Also, it can be used as a new dimension in games. Remember the preview with the ninja stars being tossed from the controller? That was pretty awesome.

But, I have to say, the graphics are what make me the happiest about Zelda. If any character deserved to go from pixel-squares to HD glory, it is definitely Link.
