• Number 1 Gift for Wii

Holidays are coming up quick! You only have two months before it’s time to dig into the presents under the tree, or buy the perfect gift for that beloved gamer.

The number 1 gift wanted for the Nintendo Wii for the 2011 holiday is the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Gold Remote Bundle. It only costs $69.96, and includes the Zelda: Skyward Sword plus a Wii Plus remote. This WiiMote is special edition. It is gold with the Skyword Sword Zelda symbol embossed into the front. It looks sharp and would be a nice addition to any gamers collection.

If you don’t know, Zelda is the #1 all-time game for Nintendo, stemming from the original Nintendo days. We’re all looking forward to Zelda on the Wii U, but that is still a little bit away.

It’s been anticipated for a long time, the pre-order sales already going through the roof: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Wii, and releases on November 8, 2011. The very first Call of Duty was released on October 29, 2003, and has had seven titles release in the past eight years. MW3 makes number 8 in the series.

One of the most notable features of Call of Duty is that they are produced by two separate developer companies, which is why there are different series. The Modern Warfare original developers were released from production, letting Sledgehammer Games and Raven software to take over the rest of the project.

Currently, Black Ops holds the pre-sale record, but it seems that Modern Warfare 3 is going to beat it.

In Los Angeles from September 2-3, 2011, Activision is holding a MW3 event to promote the game, called Call of Duty: Experience.

Make sure to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to guarantee your copy for the November 8 release date.
