Wii U Games
Nintendo may have missed the mark for “hardcore” gamers with the Wii, appealing to “casual” gamers instead, but they learned their lesson. The next generation of Nintendo will be the Wii U, and their focus has honed in on those hardcore gamers this time around.
They upped the graphics to math the consoles already on the market, added a controller with touchscreen and more controls, and then let third-party developers control their own internet network instead of mimicking Xbox Live or PlayStation Network.
So what’s that mean? Better graphics, a more flexible internet community, and unexplored territory with a second screen. Gaming will be entirely different.
From what we’ve already seen, the graphics for Zelda (which will come out around Wii U launch in 2012) is phenomenal, better than we’ve seen for Zelda ever before.
Then we have to look at Batman: Arkham City.
It’s already available for pre-order and, well, simply looks awesome.
There’s several other Wii U games available for pre-order too. Ones I’m looking forward to even: Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge; Darksiders 2; and Tekken.
We’ll keep you posted as more games are announced and listed. Stay tuned.
