Athletic events are always fascinating. Think how good it will be if these events are conducted for your pet puppies. Pet Sports is one such game on the Wii that simulates a series of sporting events starring your pet dogs. This game offers a fairly traditional virtual pet experience combining it with athletic events. Though the concept is good but the game has not met the expectations of many.
The game allows you to pick your dog from the variety of breeds available. You can also customize the appearance of your puppy using the different outfits and thus making your dog special and appealing. It is a multiplayer game and you can race with 4 people at a time. The game allows you to care for a puppy and in turn develop a strong relationship with them.
The game lacks the ability in providing a variety in the sports it offers for your dogs. This limitation makes it a dull choice for game lovers. There is only a dog race with minor mini games like fetch, jumping rope for a variation. The game is designed to play with the Wii remote. You have to flail your hands back and forth as fast as possible to make your puppy cross the finish line first. You should also input a correct sequence of steps to bring back you dog into the race if it gets distracted.
The game as overall rating of 5 gets out of 10 and as said earlier the game lack variety and thus it is not much entertaining. With a good quality graphics the game gets a comment of ok from experts who had played the game.
