Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, a game by THQ and Pipe Works is an exact replica of the television show of the same name. So those whoa re familiar with the show know what to expect from the game. This game is more about word puzzles and will keep the crossword lovers interested.
The television show Merv Griffin’s Crosswords are organized in such a way that the participants solve crossword puzzle and spell out words to get cash award. It is divided into three rounds, but the final part is same, jus solving crosswords. The game also follows the same rules- the one who knew the answer has to press the buzzer using the Wii remote and spell the word using the onscreen keyboard that appears on the screen.
This game is not a exact replica of the crossword puzzles. The fact that you are timed and the controls make you frustrated. To play against the computer is another irritating part of the game.
